The proposed journey
Meet the group, settle in and enjoy the first evening; no riding required.
Chapman’s Peak and the peninsula when road and weather conditions permit; second night in Cape Town.
Head for the Winelands through the coastal and inland riding country.
A full riding day from Franschhoek, returning to the same hotel for dinner.
Cross toward the Klein Karoo, with time for scenic stops.
Follow Route 62; a longer riding stage, with an early start and an unhurried lunch.
Explore the Klein Karoo on suitable paved roads; return to the same hotel.
Ride south through the Outeniqua country to the Garden Route.
A scenic loop towards Plettenberg Bay and Tsitsikamma, returning to Knysna.
A second day without moving hotels: coast, forest and time to enjoy the area.
A longer westbound coastal riding stage, with planned rest stops.
Ride towards the Cape coast with time for lunch and the views.
A final coastal ride and farewell dinner in Cape Town.
Fly home or extend your stay independently.
Target approximately 150 miles across normal riding days. The two longer transfer days may approach 180–195 miles; final road routing, timing and sightseeing stops need a local recce. Gravel passes and roads affected by flood repairs are not part of the guaranteed route. Motorcycle hire, support, hotels and final inclusions remain subject to confirmation.

This proposed fly-in tour stays in South Africa. Each guest must check the passport, visa and entry conditions that apply to their own nationality and circumstances, including any independently arranged transit. Riders will also need a full suitable motorcycle licence and must meet the hire provider’s conditions once the motorcycle arrangements are confirmed.
