A Boss Hogg Grand Tour brings together remarkable places, distinctive hotels and dining worth making time for. The quality of the stay matters as much as the day’s journey: welcoming service, comfortable rooms and a setting you want to linger in. We look after the daily arrangements and get to know the people travelling with us.
From mountain villages to the places where liberation is remembered, each journey has its own character. We seek out regional kitchens, well-chosen local restaurants and special dinners, with time to enjoy the food and the company. Quality and a sense of place guide the choice, whether the evening is relaxed or a little more celebratory.

Golfers can join the rounds from either seat on the motorcycle, with choices for non-playing guests being planned alongside the golf.

From Marrakech evenings to Atlantic air and the red stone of the Anti-Atlas. Eleven planned riding days give the journey room to breathe, with two-night bases in Essaouira, Tafraoute and Taroudant.
A Cape-to-Karoo-to-coast motorcycle journey with time to stop, dine well and enjoy the places between the roads. Two-night bases in Cape Town, Franschhoek and Oudtshoorn lead to three nights around Knysna and its riding loops.
Before departure, we discuss room preferences, dietary needs and arrival plans. During the tour, we coordinate the hotel check-ins, restaurant arrangements and visit timings, with someone you know on hand when plans need attention.
The hospitality matters throughout the day: a well-timed break, help with a practical question, an interesting visit and a warm welcome around the dinner table.
Luggage & Support
Our support vehicle carries your main luggage between overnight stops. We coordinate the bags and hotel arrivals, so you can travel with what you need for the day.
Small Groups
With 8–10 customer bikes, there is time to learn names and preferences and enjoy the company. Solo travellers, couples and pillions all have a place at the table.
Fly & Ride
Joining us from overseas? Talk to us about motorcycle rental, transfers and nights before or after the tour. Availability, arrangements and additional costs are agreed before you book.
Passports, visas and entry requirements
Guests of all nationalities are welcome. Each guest, whether riding or travelling as a pillion, must hold a valid passport or other travel document accepted for the whole journey, together with any visas or travel authorisations required for their nationality and circumstances.
See each tour page for the countries on its published route. Requirements depend on your nationality, travel document and immigration status. For European tours, check Schengen entry rules and any travel authorisations in force at departure. For UK departures and returns, check both initial UK entry and re-entry after the tour. Fairways currently stays within England and Scotland.
Please check the official requirements before booking and again before departure. We can provide itinerary and accommodation confirmations to support an application once arrangements are confirmed. Obtaining the required documents and meeting entry conditions remain each guest’s responsibility. Our joining instructions will include a route-specific reminder.

How does the group stay together?
Our operating plan includes a lead rider, a rear motorcycle rider and a support-van driver, all in radio contact. We brief the route and regrouping points each day. We also plan a temporary GPS tracker on each tour motorcycle to help locate a bike if it becomes separated. We will confirm the tracker, privacy and any rental-bike arrangements before a real booking; signal coverage and equipment cannot guarantee uninterrupted contact.
What happens after I enquire?
Julian will reply personally to discuss the tour, who is travelling and your preferences. We will explain what is confirmed and what is still being arranged. For a real booking, you will receive a written quotation, final terms and protection details before deciding whether to book.
Do I need my own motorcycle?
You can bring a suitable, roadworthy and insured motorcycle. If you need a rental Harley, tell us early so we can explore availability. The hire-bike rider price includes motorcycle hire, subject to the confirmed tour arrangements, provider availability and rider eligibility. Both rider options are shown below where the tour price is available. Models and cross-border permissions must be confirmed.
Yes. Solo travellers, women riders, couples and pillions are welcome. Tell us whether each guest is riding or travelling as a pillion and about room preferences. Prices for pillions, single rooms and any supplements will be explained in your quotation; Victory’s published rider price includes a private room.
How demanding is the riding?
These are road tours for riders comfortable handling their motorcycle at low speed, on bends and over consecutive riding days. Mountain tours include hairpins, gradients and changing weather; some days involve longer transfers. We will discuss your experience and the route before booking. Riding instruction is not included.
What does the price include?
Published prices are planning indications until a written quotation is issued. Each quotation will list accommodation, meals, visits, luggage support and any crossings or transfers included. Flights are not included. The hire-bike rider price includes motorcycle hire, subject to the final tour and supplier arrangements. Fuel, personal spending and your own travel insurance are additional unless expressly included.
Can you accommodate dietary or access needs?
Please tell Julian about any requirements before booking so we can discuss the suitability of the route, hotels and visits. Historic sites and mountain destinations can involve steps, cobbles and walking. We will confirm agreed arrangements in writing; please avoid sending medical records through the enquiry form.
Hire a motorcycle or bring your own
We plan for 8–10 customer bikes, with a maximum of 10 paying customer bikes. Our lead and sweep bikes are additional. A departure requires at least five paying riders, excluding pillions.
Sharing pillion fares exclude motorcycle hire and apply equally with hire or own-bike riders. The hire supplement is charged once per hired motorcycle, not per person.
The hire-bike price covers the motorcycle-hire charge, paid by Boss Hogg once the provider confirms the arrangement. You sign the provider’s rental agreement and must meet its rider requirements. A separate security deposit or card pre-authorisation may apply. We’ll confirm its amount and refund or release conditions, any excess and other provider charges before you book. Fuel is extra.
