Thirteen days create the time the Balkans deserve.
Our proposed fly-and-ride circuit begins and ends in Split, linking Mostar, Kotor, Tirana, Lake Ohrid, Meteora, Skopje, Zlatibor and Sarajevo. The extra nights remove the punishing transfers from the earlier outline while preserving all seven countries.
Riders, pillions and solo travellers are welcome. Final rental permissions, border routes, hotels and recovery arrangements must be confirmed before a real booking.

Pillions share the rider’s room and motorcycle. Their fare excludes motorcycle hire and is the same with a hired or own motorcycle.
The hire-bike price covers the motorcycle-hire charge, paid by Boss Hogg once the provider confirms the arrangement. You sign the provider’s rental agreement and must meet its rider requirements. A separate security deposit or card pre-authorisation may apply. We’ll confirm its amount and refund or release conditions, any excess and other provider charges before you book. Fuel is extra. We are shaping this journey around distinctive, high-quality places to stay, chosen for their setting, comfort and local hospitality. Dining will draw on the region’s coastal and inland traditions, with carefully selected restaurants and evenings worth lingering over. The final hotels and included meals will be confirmed before booking.
The mileage bands are planning estimates pending final road plotting and reconnaissance. Border waits, fuel, lunch, photography and visits sit outside saddle time.
Day 01
Welcome to Split
Arrive independently, complete the confirmed motorcycle handover and meet the group for the route briefing and welcome dinner.

Day 02
Split to Mostar
Cross the Dalmatian hinterland and Bosnia & Herzegovina on a scenic route that leaves time to park, walk through the old town and enjoy the evening around Stari Most.

Day 03
Mostar to the Bay of Kotor
Ride through Trebinje and towards Herceg Novi before following the bay to Kotor. Border time, fuel and a relaxed lunch are allowed for rather than treated as delays.

Day 04
Montenegro mountain and coast loop
A deliberately lighter luggage-free day linking the Lovćen and Cetinje country with the Adriatic around Budva, subject to local access and weather.

Day 05
Kotor to Tirana
Follow the coast through Bar, cross towards Shkodër and continue to the Albanian capital. The day will use a confirmed, paved border route suitable for the motorcycles and support vehicle.

Day 06
Across Albania to Lake Ohrid
Ride inland through Elbasan and the Korçë region before crossing into North Macedonia. This is one of the fuller days, with an efficient alternative retained for border or weather delays.

Day 07
Ohrid to Meteora
Leave the lake, cross the mountain country around Bitola and Florina and continue into Greece. The aim is to reach Kalambaka with time to see the rock formations in the evening light.

Day 08
Meteora experience day
A deliberately light day for selected monastery visits, viewpoints and time off the motorcycles. Walking, access and dress requirements will be explained before departure.

Day 09
Meteora to Skopje
Turn north through Greek and North Macedonian mountain country towards Skopje, balancing enjoyable roads with realistic border and arrival time.

Day 10
Skopje to Zlatibor
Cross into Serbia and continue towards Zlatibor. This is the longest planned riding day and will have a direct-weather alternative, fixed fuel stops and a disciplined departure time.

Day 11
Zlatibor to Sarajevo
A shorter day through the Drina country and Višegrad gives back time for lunch, photographs and an evening in Sarajevo.

Day 12
Sarajevo to Split
Return through Konjic and Jablanica before crossing back to Croatia. The final ride protects time for motorcycle return and a farewell dinner in Split.

Day 13
Until the next road
Breakfast, farewells and independent onward travel. Final transfer and motorcycle-return arrangements will be included in the joining plan.

Days 6, 7 and 10 need disciplined starts and direct alternatives. Days 4 and 8 are intentionally lighter experience days. The final route will use paved public roads and suitable border crossings only.
Biograd na Moru, for a future Croatian ride
We are exploring Biograd as a coastal stop for a future itinerary, with time for the waterfront, local food and perhaps a boat trip to the islands. The European H.O.G. Rally is scheduled there for 10–13 June 2027; this proposed October departure follows the itinerary above and does not attend the rally.
Before travelling
The proposed route visits Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, North Macedonia and Serbia. Entry and re-entry rules differ by nationality. Rental motorcycles and the support vehicle require explicit written permission, insurance and recovery arrangements for every country and border crossing.
We will issue the final joining plan before departure. Do not arrange flights or motorcycle hire on the strength of an enquiry.

Tour confirmation
A minimum of five paying riders, excluding pillions, is required. We plan for 8–10 customer bikes, with a maximum of 10 paying customer bikes. Our lead and sweep bikes are additional and do not count towards that maximum. Final tour arrangements and booking terms must be confirmed before a booking is accepted.
Planned package inclusions
All tours include the advertised hotel accommodation; breakfasts, lunches and evening meals; wine tastings, wine with evening meals and hotel welcome drinks; the guided ride with lead and sweep support; the support and luggage vehicle; admissions advertised as included visits; the scheduled ferry or tunnel crossings required by that itinerary; one scheduled arrival arrangement: either pickup on the tour departure day from a named local international airport to the published tour start point, or, for an international guest whose flight schedule requires arrival the previous day, one airport hotel night immediately before departure with airport-to-hotel and next-day scheduled transfers to the start point; and one scheduled departure arrangement: either a transfer from the published motorcycle drop-off point to a named local international airport on the tour end day, or, when the tour return timing requires an international guest to fly the next day, one airport hotel night after the tour with transfers from the motorcycle drop-off point to that hotel and onwards to the airport the next day. The included airport transfers operate within their published meeting and departure windows, including the hotel arrangements when needed.
